SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

Mail Order Mystery ships to Canadian and US destinations, including APO and DPO addresses. International shipping is not available. 

SHIPPING CHARGES

Mail Order Mystery is based in Canada. There is a standard shipping charge of $9 for US and Canadian orders, which will be added at checkout. The shipping cost is for the entire mystery experience, not for each installment. Shipping is charged per mystery, not per order. If you are ordering more than one mystery we recommend that you place each order separately so that we can accurately collect the information we need to personalize each mystery.

Express shipping is available for $19 for orders being shipped to the United States and $27 for orders being shipped to Canada. Express shipping is currently only available on "All in One Box" orders. 

Please note: If you enter the shipping address incorrectly and the mystery is returned to us, there will be a charge to re-ship the package.

SHIPPING METHODS

We offer two delivery options: “All in One Box” and “Send Weekly.” If you choose “All in One Box” we send all six installments in one box. If you choose “Send Weekly” we mail one installment per week for six weeks.

DELIVERY STANDARDS

If you select “Send Weekly” as your shipping method you choose the date you would like us to begin shipping the mystery. This is the date we mail the first letter, not the date the mystery arrives. Most installments are sent letter mail with no tracking information. The speed at which mail moves through the postal system is not precise, so delivery times can vary, but may take up to 10 business days. If a letter has not arrived after 10 business days please contact us.

If you order “All in One Box” we need some time to personalize and package your mystery. We usually send out orders within a week. Depending on where you live your package should take between two and ten business days to arrive. When your order is ready to ship you will receive an email with tracking information.

EXPRESS SHIPPING

We have express shipping available for “All in One Box” orders. If you are in the US we ship UPS or DHL overnight courier and in Canada we ship UPS or Xpresspost. Express orders ship next business day and take one to two business days to arrive (with slightly longer delivery times to rural or remote areas). Express shipping is not available for weekly letters.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Because our mystery experiences are customized, we do not offer refunds or returns. But it is important to us that kids have a good experience with Mail Order Mystery. If you have any questions or comments please contact us.
