Is Spies, Lies and Serious Bad Guys the right choice for me?

We recommend the espionage-themed Spies, Lies and Serious Bad Guys for ages 9 and up. The mystery contains complex ciphers and clues within clues; it is challenging enough that we get messages from adults who are stumped, and younger kids may need help along the way. Although there are plenty of ciphers to crack, puzzles to solve and clues within clues, Spies Lies and Serious Bad Guys is not an “activity box” or an “escape activity”. It is a mystery story that unfolds over several mailings, and it is designed to engage and intrigue. All of the letters are written directly to kids from the spies in the mystery, so kids are the main characters in a story that is all about them and their mission to stop a villain and find a missing agent.

Fantastic Christmas Gift

I gave this to my 11 year old grandson for Christmas. It was his favorite thing by far. He worked on that every day and was intrigued by learning how to decipher codes and figure out the clues. It was a gift that made him work very hard and he didn’t know he was doing that because it is set up so well.
Excellent gift. I will buy him another one. Well Done!!! It was a Hit……….. He finished his in less than a week but he was working on it throughout the day.

This gift was a Home Run!

This gift was amazing... the 9 year old recipient was extremely excited and interested in it. She worked the whole mystery in 10 days instead of the 6 weeks ... I would have liked it to last longer, but she had the time over Christmas vacation and she thoroughly enjoyed it. When she shared her excitement at the end, I could see her eyes sparkling. She texted me that "she realized this was the most fun thing ever". I will definitely consider ordering another mystery in the future. She is a 9 year old 4th grader with great reading and thinking skills.

Sent these to my nieces and they LOVED them. The 3 of them and their parents would anxiously await for the next to arrive and had a great family night doing them together.
