Why We Aren’t Doing a Black Friday Sale (Again)

If you've been following us for a while, you probably won't be surprised to hear that we're not doing a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale this year. We've never done one. And we don't plan to start now. Mail Order Mystery is a family-run business. We create personalized experiences for kids that take time to prepare. 

We don’t want to compromise our commitment to creating great experiences for kids in order to jump into the feeding frenzy of sales, compete to be heard above the noise, or artificially increase our prices so we can look like we are offering great deals for one weekend of the year.

We just wanted to let you know so that you don't spend your holiday or weekend checking your inbox waiting to see if we're having a sale. If your inbox looks anything like ours, it is already overflowing as the Black Friday hype starts to build towards its crescendo.

We may not be having a blowout sale, but we think there are a lot of other pretty great reasons to order our one-of-a-kind mystery experiences. And you can do that today without having to worry about missing out on any big Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Pre-Christmas/Boxing Day sales. You’ll know you paid the same price we charge almost every other day of the year. And best of all you’ll be giving the gift of intrigue, mystery and adventure to a kid you love.
