And the Winner of our Talk Like a Pirate Contest is…

Ahoy! We’re pleased to announce the winner of our first annual Write Like a Pirate contest in honour of last weekend’s Talk Like a Pirate Day. You scallywags did not make this easy for us. You sent us some bone chillin’ threats, some pirate-y pleas, some swaggerin’ yarns and some excellent excerpts from yer ol’ captain’s logs. Thanks to all who entered, and for yer efforts we sent ye 10 % off the Mail Order Mystery of your choice. 

We could only pick one for the grand prize and so we put the matter to vote. The winner of the booty ‘n loot, by which we mean One Free Mail Order Mystery, is Kaden (age 5) and Hunter (age 7) from Oklahoma with their knee-slapping tale of Captain One-Eyed Woody and his bum leg:
